Problem

AutoKredit communicated with customers mainly by phone and messaging. Every inquiry started with the same question: "what would the monthly payment be for this amount?" An operator calculated the answer by hand, which took time and kept the customer waiting.

The goal was simple: let customers calculate on the site themselves, see the terms, and apply with the information ready. That way, what reaches the operator is no longer a "how much?" question but a concrete application.

Approach

The project was planned at tier S1 — Validation. Expected traffic was not high and the aim was to test whether the online channel would work, so a simple, low-cost setup was chosen: one server, one application, no complex infrastructure.

A CI/CD pipeline, a separate test environment and load testing were deliberately not built — at this volume they are nothing but cost. Instead, the code structure, environment separation and release scripts were prepared so that those layers can be switched on without a rewrite when traffic grows.

The calculator sits at the center of the interface: the user picks an amount, and the monthly payment for each of the 6 / 12 / 15 / 18 / 24-month options appears instantly. Next to every option are direct "Apply online" and "WhatsApp" buttons, so there is no step between the moment of decision and contact.

The remaining sections follow the same logic — loan terms, frequently asked questions and contact blocks on a single page, with quick links. For mobile users, the whole flow is sized for thumb-friendly use.

What we built

5

Payment options

The 6, 12, 15, 18 and 24-month terms are compared on the same screen.

0

Server requests

The monthly payment calculation runs entirely in the browser.

S1

Starting tier

A simple, low-cost setup; the next tier is kept ready.

Why the S1 tier was chosen

Whether the online channel would work had not yet been tested. In that case, building a multi-region architecture and CI/CD means stealing budget from the product. So a simple setup was chosen — but the next tier was kept ready.

Built

  • ■Interactive loan calculator (6–24 month options)
  • ■Auto loan and auto pawn product sections
  • ■Online application flow
  • ■Direct contact via WhatsApp
  • ■Loan terms and FAQ sections
  • ■Mobile-friendly single-page layout
  • ■Technical SEO: title, description, speed

Deliberately not built

  • —CI/CD pipeline
  • —Separate staging environment
  • —Load testing
  • —Multi-region setup

Kept ready

  • ○Separation of environment variables
  • ○Release scripts
  • ○Modular structure — for adding a new product section

Architecture decisions

01

Calculation on the client side

The monthly payment is calculated instantly in the browser without a request to the server. As the slider moves, all term options update at the same time — no waiting, no server load.

02

Single page, quick links

The calculator, terms, FAQ and contact live on one page, and navigation works with anchor links. The page doesn't reload in between, which makes a noticeable difference for mobile users.

03

Direct contact on every option

The apply button isn't hidden in a separate section — it's inside every term card. The user can get in touch the moment they decide.

04

A simple release fitting S1

One server, direct release. At this volume, building a pipeline is a cost; the structure is kept ready so one can be added within a sprint when needed.

Let's build your product*together*

In a forty-minute meeting we talk through your scale: which tier it makes sense to start at, how much time and budget it takes, and what we deliberately defer. No obligation.
